Founded in 1979 by Late Shri. Himatlal Mansukhlal Shah, J. Himatlal & Company has come a long way from its beginnings. When Shri. Himatlal Shah first started out, his passion for providing the best quality of wood for his customers drove him to do intense research, and gave him the impetus to turn hard work and inspiration into to a booming plywood and timber business.

Fire Retardant Marine Ply - Proton Ply
A Gurjan Wood Product
We are authorised distributors for Proton Fire Retardant Marine Ply BWP Grade IS 710 - 5509.
Proton Fire Retardant Marine Grade Plywood is made of well selected pieces of core and face veneers. These are bonded with Phenol Formaldehyde BWP grade resin under high temperature and pressure.
Further, the finished plywood is subjected to proper chemical treatment with water-soluble fixed type preservatives under vacuum pressure to ensure protection against wood destroying organism and to make the product - insects, borer, termites and fungi free. This specific stress relieving treatment is also given to check anti-warp properties of plywood, which make them dimensionally stable in both excessive wet and dry condition throughout its life. Proton Fire retardant marine plywood is chemically treated to slow the spread of flames, ensuring enhanced safety in commercial and residential spaces.
Silver Oak Wood
We present Silver Oak wood (shuttering timber) which is procured from leading vendors. These silver oak wood is available in all size and is mainly used in construction industry as shuttering timber. Silver wood is majorly used by builders, construction contractors, civil contractors for construction of malls, residential building, factories and commercial building. Available in various size our wood meets the requirement of clients.
Veneers
Veneer is a very thin slice of wood obtained from a tree log. That is why it is also known as wood veneers, since they are actually slices of wood.
Logs obtained from trees are mounted horizontally on a machine, and rotated about their longitudinal axis while a cutter peels off layers from the log. Such types of wood veneers are called rotary-cut veneers. The other type is sliced veneers in which logs are sliced instead of being rotated and peeled. Sliced veneers are more costlier to produce but these are capable of providing us with veneers of a higher quality.
Laminates
Decorative Laminates (a blend of paper and plastic resins) are hard and brittle sheets having a thickness of around 1 mm, and are widely used as an overlay over wood, such as in the case of laminated table tops, wood panels, or other wooden furniture. The sheets have a decorative surface (made using decorative printed paper) and are manufactured in a wide variety of colours, design patterns and textures.
